CJ3A Canvas Tops
« on: September 18, 2024, 08:40:47 PM »
Has anyone tried one of the canvas tops for sale on Ebay from India? There is a lengthy discussion about them on the CJ2A page but just wondered if anyone has tried one on their CJ3A.

I haven’t heard of anyone installing one yet. I hope they work out. I recall how difficult it was back in 2018 when I was trying to find someone who would make one for me. At least this company wants to provide what is needed.

This might be a late reply but the is a pretty long thread over on the CJ2a page.  The bottom line is the tops from India from that specific manufacturer seem to be pretty good.  I have ordered and received my top from them but I am not ready to install it yet.  The fabric is a cotton/poly blend that is quite heave duty.  The seems are well stitched and it looks pretty nice.

Here is the Cj2a thread:
