Sinal light grill indent dimensions
« on: January 11, 2025, 06:11:57 PM »
Hello guys, does anyone have the dimensions, or have a grill they could easily measure?
My 3A had the indents where the signal light pockets mount to, cut out by a previous owner to fit CJ-3B/5 style lights, and only the first radius remains. Since i haven't found replacement patches, i decided to make my own, but i have no original grill to base myself on.

I'd need the depth, the diameter of the bottom of the indent and the diameter of the hole for the light socket.

BrJeeper,

I recall reading somewhere about these indents.  I've been busy and haven't had time to deep-dive to see if I could find what I'd read.  I remember reading that the socket fits in that hole at the back of the indent but haven't got any idea on the dimensions.  I did notice the unique socket is available by several vendors.

This will probably be best tackled by someone with a 3A that can get you some numbers.
