Willys is better then Ford! Proove? They don't stample their parts for warranty.

1953 cj3b with a 1962 Hurricane F-head, 134 cu.in. with a Carter 6115.S carb. I got i 1980 ( a real reck) for plowing snow. It sat in back yard for years with hope to some day restore it. Then in 2013 I got it into my garage and stripped it down to the frame. Little by little I chipped away at rebuilding it. See photos.

Thanks for the welcome! The snow plow is no more. Now living in the south.
I need some help in trouble shooting a back fire issue. My willys runs great at idle and low rpm while it was in the garage. Took her for the first road test. As soon as I give her more gas to increase power (slight incline) it starts back firing. Noise is so loud I'm concerned I will blow her new exhaust system. Any suggestions?

I'm bad at guessing.  It's too easy to jump over important information "assuming" where to go.

Recommend a thread describing all your back fire issues in the "Engine" section.  Then we can all pile on with ideas.

Yeah, a plow won't help much down south.
