jb,Congrats on your new project!You're asking about the windshield frame? The 3B frame looks different from other frames. The early 2A frames are tubular, have an inner frame where the glass folds out and have sharp square corners at the top. The 3A, like the 3B frame, are mad of a square tube bent around to form rounded top corners with a slightly curved arch across the top of the frame. Between these 2 the easy identifier is the distance between the lower edge (contact with cowl) and the bottom edge of the glass. The 3A here has a larger piece of sheet metal big enough to have its signature air vent.
