How was CJ3A windshield fastened when down on hood
« on: April 27, 2017, 09:07:47 PM »
I am in the midst of some repairs to my windshield, and in particular I am replacing some of the sheet metal between the top of the glass opening and square tubing at the top. I noticed that there is nothing on my windshield where it could be strapped down to the footman loop at the front of the grille. There are no holes for a footman loop on the windshield....How was it done?

Thanks Tim,
I took a wire brush to that crusty area on my windshield and there are indications of something there at one time. Must have broken off. I'll fab something to replace it!
Thanks
