Driver's Seat Location
« on: March 29, 2016, 09:52:34 AM »
Locating the driver's seat just does not "feel" correct so I thought I would post a couple of pictures to get a second opinion.   The issue is that the inside rear foot sits on top of a ridge in the tub and the bolt hole is at the edge of the deck.  The frame is 3 1/4 inches from the outside wall. The front feet look like they are in a good location.

Hi Jim,

Below are a few reference photos. On first view, your seat looks like it needs to be moved away from the tub wall.

Additionally, it would not be unheard of to have to "adjust" the seat frame a bit to achieve a good alignment.

Please note: These are 2A seat frames in a 3A Willys. The legs mount in the same position either either way. The seat just doesn't reach back far enough to sit on the front of the wheel house. I had to add larger shelves shown in the last photo.
