Transfer case mount
« on: September 17, 2014, 08:40:57 AM »
I am trying to get the transfer case mount off of my crossmember before I have the frame sandblasted and painted and was going to attempt to reuse it. I have tried a hammer to get the thing off. Is it just stuck with rust, or is there something else I don't know?

I am sure this question is rudimentary at best, please bear with me.

The round mount on the right is welded to the cross member. You can take out the rubber mount and also the metal spun insert. When you buy a new mount it will come with the bolt, rubber mount's, spun insert, and nut.

Hope this helps.
