Thanks for the input on hardware.  I'm going to go with the Stainless. We do alot of marine work and I have pretty good access to bulk items.  It looks like a box of 1/4" x 1" and 5/16 x 1 1/2" will take care of hood latches, steering bracket, tailgate hinges etc. A box of #10 x 1" pan head machine screws for mirror bracket, door hinges. A of #12 x 5/8 pan head sheet metal screws- for access plates, etc. A box #8 x 1/2" flat head or oval head machine screws for the footman loops.  Feel free to change or add to this list as I'm kinda "winging it".
