Companion flange leaking

This is a carry over from the rants page...I'm just about to rip the flange off the back of the transfer box as its still leaking after fitting a speedie sleeve, should i have put some sealant on the splines to stop a by pass type leak along those splines  ?

Just took the shaft out and a 1/4 of a cup of t/case oil dropped out of this area, i need to put RTV sealer on the splines and on the four bolts, Duh...  

 Those old posts are always a wealth of knowledge...
