Well it had stalled just a bit. I went back to school for my Masters (work is paying for it, so why not), and then when I realized that a full set of brakes and backing plates was probably going to hit closer to $800 than $600, I put it on hold to save up some money. Then, I noticed someone selling a set of 11" brakes a 2 hour drive from here. As long as a potential buyer doesn't pick them up tonight, I'm going to head his way this weekend hopefully and get them for considerably less. I'm hoping the description is fairly close to what they actually are so I can save some money. If nothing else, it will let me get the backing plates refinished, mounted, and the brake lines run so I can get the front axle up on my work bench.
