My trip down to Florida
« on: June 28, 2017, 01:29:42 PM »
I trailered my '49 down to Florida last weekend with a local Photography Club with associations with the Jeep Only Club of Florida. We spent most of the nite in the Bull Creek WMA taking shots of the Milky Way & nite-time photos of all the Jeeps that showed up. Thought I'd share.

Great pix, thanks for sharing.
For the group photo, did you do a long exposure, then group the folks and take a flash for the last second? Or is it a layered photo?
I've fiddled with long exposures, but never seriously. Looks great!

These are difficult photos to pull off.  Would love to know how you did it.

Very nice!  I don't think of Florida as having the usual crystal-clear nights needed to see the Milky Way so well.  Clearly I was wrong.

Ron Williams was the photographer here. He has great talent as u all noticed. He posts on Facebook under jeepfotos.com. I'm sure he'd be glad to share how he does it.
