Here is a photo of me wearing my cj3apage t-shirt (Thank Bill) posting beside my 3A.

I didn't win...but I was happy as my big smile in my face can tell you.

Looks like a nice day for a show. Jeep looks great. For you being such a vital part of this site I don't remember seeing a lot of other pics of it. Did I miss them somewhere along the way?

I notice you do not have a windshield strap. Do you ever drive with the windshield folded down? I didn't  a lot at first but now it's down pretty much all the time. Almost feels like something is wrong now if it isn't down.

Sorry to hear you didn't win.  The Willys looks terrific.  How did the fellow with the M38 do?

More about it here on my personal website:

I got the windshield strap from Walck's and should give it a try soon.

The M38 was a CJ3A and it was not even close to your. He still have to work on it to make it look better as an M38.

For you Ryan!

Now i need to find proper aviator glasses.

I added safety belt but now with the windshield down i feel that i should put back the roll bar.

QJ, you have a beautiful Willy's! Can I ask the dimensions of the wood blocks on the hood? Do you have adequate clearance between the vent and the hood and the weatherstrip and the hood? I am finding that I have to put a 4 inch foam block on the hood when I lay the windshield down in order to have adequate clearance. Can't figure it out as the windshield arm mounting brackets seem to be located in the proper location. I do not have wipers. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is what I found from the 2A page:

"These are dimensions that were reported to be 3A sized hood blocks, by a fellow at the 2A page named Bluax.

draw a picture of a rectangle on your paper 4 5/8" L x 2" tall x 1" wide. 11/16" from the left is dead center for your first hole. Continue on and again from the left side measure 3 5/16" for dead center of your second hole. These are both 1/4" holes drilled completely thru the width of the block. Now we will enlarge these holes to 5/8" to a depth of 1 1/4" otherwords, countersink. When completed you will note that both holes are more toward one end of the block and are NOT evenly spaced from each end."

Here is picture of mine and I do remembered buying them from Walck's;
