1954 Willys EPM
« on: August 21, 2011, 08:08:44 PM »
Today someone told me about a Jeep they have. I went and visited it and it's a 1954 EPM but I haven't heard of one. That don't really surprise me because there is a lot I haven't heard of ::).

Does anyone know anything about them?

The only "EPM" I'm aware of is that many/most M38A1 data plates were stamped "Inspected by EPM". Pictures?

Hmm, I may go look at it again but I am sure it was in the model number area.

There are several variations of the M38 and M38A1 data plates as can be seen in these examples.

Ahh yes, it looked like one of those tags as best I can remember. The tag was so dirty even after I rubbed on it I still couldn't read much of it. Yep, it's just a M38-A1 that needs a LOT of work. He wanted $1200 for it and another tub.
