Hey ya'll!
« on: January 10, 2013, 03:52:57 PM »
Been hearing so much about this site and how often the info here is cited. Figured I'd join in. For those who don't know me from the CJ2A Page, I'm 61 and been in Jeeps for almost fifteen years. I've been in love with Jeeps since high school, but could never find the time for them til  a few years ago. I've owned seven 2As and currently have 2 1/5. My daily driver is a '48 (actually a '47 with '48 title), named Blue. The restoration I'm working on is a '46 (mid-year) named Willy. I've got another '48, #7 is a donor Jeep. My son gets the hood, fenders and grille for his restomod '48. I get the tub and the rest. Recently retired from OTR trucking, I now spend my days rebuilding WO carbs, AC 572 single action fuel pumps and Carter and AC glass bowl fuel filters. When I have time, I work on Willy.
Old fashioned service never goes out of style.

We don't have those fancy thumbsup emoticons that Haines Garage likes to use over here yet...but

Glad to have ya aboard..

ScoutPilot,
Great to see you over here. You are incredibly helpful at the 2A pages. We should all be happy to see him peak in over here. Great knowledge and fun to be had by all.

Not to mention his Carb rebuilds. Haines Garage, HillBilly21, and many others at the 2A give high praise for his excellent work at a very reasonable price.

You will notice it's not as crazy busy over here, but still plenty of folks in need of help from guys like you with skills!!

Bill, if you look closely, you will find the now famous [smiley=thumbsup.gif]...

Again, Welcome!!!!! :exclamation :exclamation :exclamation

There, I took care of the lack of smileys in my posts for the next 6 months now.Found a few I had no idea what they were so I added them for good measure.
