Hi,
I have a cj3b with carter 938, the last two years i have had different issues, iddle is not smootly, poor aceletation, gas leaks etc the carter has play and is not easy to me find an expert in this kind of carburator. I am thinking to replace with solex carb, Your opinion and advices will be appreciated,

The issue may be where are you located?

I have a Solex NIB purchased many years ago (to use as a replacement) but had since gotten my Carter rebuilt at "Then and Now," http://www.then-now-auto.com/services/ , but this was years before I met Scoutpilot.
