Re: My 3A so far. Took it home!

After 11 months it's finally out of my way here at my shop. Drove it the 8 mile trip home. Has a few issues like main seal leaking and the carburetor flooded out the last half mile. I know my float level is set correct so maybe it's the metering rod set to high. I taped on the carb in case float was sticking and it has not done it since but I have not run it much because I do not have tags yet. Any ideas on that? Also my main seal is leaking some. Should I use the rope seal or the neoprene type? Other than those issues it did pretty good. Not very comfortable with the seat so close and getting your foot to the accelerator pedal takes some time to get used to also. How would you drive one of these with big boots on?

How can I turn these pictures? I turned them over in my downloads but still come out up side down on here.

Thanks, Tumbleweed. How did you fix those pictures? Goes to show what I know about these boxes!

Ronnie, it was my pleasure.  Better on your beautiful 3A, than tucked away in my parts bin.

Really nice work!  Congratulations.
