heater question

Any idea what type/brand of heater this is?
Also - are these easy to remove and work on?
The core seems to warm up but not sure if the fan works or if the switch is any good.

Found a wire leading from the switch thru the firewall, that is
disconnected - any idea where this wire should
be attached? There is a rats nest of wires on the front right
hand side of the firewall. I guess the question is - how do I get power
to the switch?

My guess is they may have had it connected to the coil wire from the ignition switch so when the ignition is off the heater would quit running. I don't know where they wired them when the dealers installed them but that would be a good place to connect it.

Before going to a lot of trouble run a jumper wire to that wire from the battery and see if the switch and motor will even work.

Carl,

You are the man. Just hooked it up the the coil and the fan works
on high and med. I will try to clean up the switch contacts and see if
low will start to work. Even the knob lit up. Oh Boy!
