At some point in time a previous owner installed JC Whitney springs and shackles on my 3A. I started to install original C shackles and discovered that the PO had cut the steel tube out of the shackle perch and welded in tubes with a smaller inside diameter.
Can anyone tell me what the ID,OD, and length of the original tube is? I'm not sure if it's easier to repair the existing bracket or replace the whole part.
