Well after trying three different styles of factory wheels. I managed to find out which ones fit and which ones don't fit.



These are 16" factory wheels with riveted centers. They have a flat flange on the lug nut area. They WILL work.





These are 16" wheels with riveted centers. They have a step on the spokes. These WILL work.




These are 16" wheels with riveted centers. They have some raised bumps in the lug nut areas. These WILL NOT work.

Not that I wouldn't like 11 inch drums or discs (lean toward the 11's for appearance) but I am pretty much happy with my "new" brakes. Bought NOS shoes off ebay and took my mechanics advise to send the shoes to Rochester Brake and Clutch to put the softer brake shoes used by old car restorers to improve stopping power. Won't last as long as the usual replacement shoes but I'm lucky to get a thousand miles a year on my 51 3A. Just a thought and I spent my money on gears instead.
