I did buy a new one for Triple X, probably a Crown? Been a while but it was bent up a bit. I did repair several tractor steering wheels, they were severely cracked and missing pieces in the bakelite. I used the epoxy filled plumbers puddy, it looks like a tootsie roll with an epoxy filler in the middle, break off a piece and roll it in your hands until the puddy and epoxy are mixed then mold it in to the wheel, filling the cracks. It hardens in a bout 5-10 minutes and you can sand it to shape and either add more or paint it. I often used hardware store acrylic spray paint. Worked well. But be careful to only use a little at a time as it may harden before you get it applied to the wheel.
