This is as good as my Jeep is gonna get while I've got it. I could say it is done but I know it never will be really finished. It has been a battle at times but with the help and knowledge of members of the Jeep sites it has been and continues to be a very rewarding experience. Thank you all.  I apologize for the wheels but it was a cost thing. Everything else is as stock as I could possibly keep it. So now the wrenching, maintainence and repairs continue and I sure look forward to driving it every day I can. Mac

Mac,
Looks terrific.  Your NDCCs look pretty sharp with those wheels.

Question...Why are you regulating your fuel pressure?  I didn't think a Carter needed that.

Tim, It had a Solex carb when I got it. It didn't work well and I was told to add a fuel regulator and it helped a little but not enough to like it. Carlsjeep built a Carter for me and it has been great ever since. I just never took the regulator off. It will get a good test in August with Calvin and Carl in Utah.

It looks great....It must be a good feeling to roll it out and be able to say it's done! Of course they are never "finished"....

What is the knob high in the dash over by the data plate? Mine has a cigarette lighter socket in that area.....lighter is long gone of course...

That is a lighter/power supply. It was there when I got it. My wife has an oxygen machine that we plug into it at higher altitudes.

That is beautiful!� I really like the white and tan combination.....especially on the motor!� For some reason, that combo just looks "right" when it is sitting in front of your style of house.
