Let me try again.

I wouldn't say it's cool but this folding dj bracket is definitely different.

Old enough to give advice and preach what they ought to be doing to younger kids who mostly let it go in one ear and out the other.....

(pretty much the same way I did when I was their age!!!)

One of my favorite sayings...

"Old age and treachery will out perform youth and inexperience every time" 8-)

PapaC is pretty much on the money. The wider hat channel on the bottom is where the mistake is.

The different offsets in the holes was the ONLY thing I could see that looked suspicious.  The rest of the work is awesome and I AM just a little bit jealous of your skills, especially the welding!!!

Now that the chassis is pretty much done, time to work on the tub. At the start I had posted a pic of it off without cleaning. Here it is again.

Thanks for posting these pictures. IF I had not saw them TODAY I can guarantee you I would have left that extra piece of hat channel on the passenger side off of mine!!!

I LIKE it!!!

Can't help it.  I'm kinda  partial to old fords. Mostly because of driving Junkers  back in the day.

Oil gets low in a old ford, the lifters dry out and  it starts making a racket like it's coming apart.....pour some oil in it.....and it would quieten back down and keep going

Oil gets low in a old Chevy.....starts making a racket....and BOOM....

Next thing you know you've got a cracked motor where a rod just came through the block!!!
