Tim thank you for the help, that was just what I needed.

I have  searched this page and the 2a site and I could not find what I was looking for. Tryin to find to location of both, so that I can check that my crossmember is in the right place and to figure out where the pedals go. Looking for the dimensions as pulled off the rearmost crossmember. Thanks in advance for all the help.

Went out and cut out what the PO used as a cover.

This is what is left

This is what I pulled out, look to be a premade piece.

Id look into separate pieces that you can fit into place and weld

I'm really looking in to it for the Trans hump, I have not seen just it for sale. Most of the front half has been replaced and cut up badly.
This is what I'm working with

Have anyone here seen this or have used it? I'm guessing MDJuan maks it. I have seen it for sale on a few sites. Thinking of using it as my floor is about 60% gone and my hump has been hacked up bad

Just last June I got a piece of metal in my eye, it was not fun. Waited two days before I went in and got it removed. Had to use eye drops for the next three weeks and had about 6 more visits. Still got a rust spot in it.

Thank you sir

Found this on Craigslist looks like a cj3a from the front bumper but the plate on the cross member is making think it might be military?

You can sometimes get around some of the firewall problems using a little body lift
with the motor being longer it pushed the trans back to, and i wanted to get it back close to stock.

with the ford 289 one of the po put in my jeep there is a loss of space in the front and on the fire wall, the manafolds are touching. so i made some new fenders that are 6" longer and add 2" on each side. i used 1/8 so that i could get away with out the mid brace.

cardbord templet i made

cutting out on the plama table

bending up

tacked up to weld

here you can see the spacers i made to gain the 2"

If you have time I would recommend going down to the henry ford museum, I know I could spend all day down there.   Saw this last time I was there

Nice to see someone from MI. I'm down in Willis. I would love to see it in person some time. You ever go to the dream cruse?
