Hello!

Yes, I have the VIN number data plate on the firewall in the passenger side under the hood. But I’ve seen some people that have these BODY data plates as in the picture attached. So I don’t know if I should get one for my restoration or not. My car was is in Colombia, but they were very similar to the ones sold in the US.

Best,

Hi! I've had trouble finding an answer for this question. Do you guys know if in the 1954 CJ-3B there is a Body identification plate on the back of the front passenger seat, and if so, did it have a serial number? I have seen one that specifies CJ-2A, and one that only says BODY Willys Overland.

Hello everyone!!

I'm really happy to be part of this community. I have been a Willys enthusiast for over 20 years now. I've had several CJs over the years. I have started restoring my 1954 CJ-3B to its original condition. I've owned it for 18 years and have decided to make a 100 point restoration (or the closest I can get). I'm thankful for the help I've already gotten and hope that I can be helpful as well in this forum. I have a lot of books, pictures and info about CJs. I will attach some photos of this latest project and keep you updated along the way.

Best,

Francisco Valencia
