Post by: PaulP on April 15, 2019, 06:00:15 PM
What is the best spin on oil filter for my f 134?

Well If you want the spin on design then I would say the factory set up that was first available in 1965.
No one particular filter design will really function any better than any other.
Only a portion of the pumped oil gets filtered at any given time.
134 Willys engines are a partial oil filtration filtering system design.

Thanks for your help. I will look further into this. I do not have a canister for my '52 F 134 so I was thinking of going to a spin on design.

I have a NAPA Spin on filter on my F134, However during the last re-build I converted the system to a full flow system rather than the bypass system.  Took some work in the block to make it happen but I'm very satisfied.
