Title: Saying Hello.
Post by: JohnD on August 11, 2017, 09:03:02 AM: Hi.ï¿½ I'm John, located in sw MO near the town of Sparta. I'm new to the vintage jeep world, and having a lot of fun.ï¿½ The hills on my forest land seem to get taller each year, -- that was the original motive for a jeep. Old tractors, stationary engines, and blacksmithing are some other interests.ï¿½ I'm retired from teaching math and physics.ï¿½ I have a pretty long list of projects that I always thought I'd get to "after retirement", seems like the list is getting longer.ï¿½ I'll attach a photo of the '49 cj3a.ï¿½ It's fairly complete and original, shows it's age. I don't think the swivel seat in the rear is original . . .ï¿½ I think the current work is going to be getting some experience at wire welding some patches to the fenders, and repairing where captive nuts have torn out. Nice to be here, and hello to all! :)
