Lee and Collier are pretty much melded together now. I have lot's of pic's on the surfacezero site under name googly moogly and will get some moving around. Been a long time member of the G503 site but it's fallen off a bit recently.

I lived down there in the early '90's. Went to Barron Collier and worked at the ol' Everglades Wonder Gardens in Bonita. I'm sure I wouldn't even recognize Lee or Collier County now. Got my first real taste for Jeeps bombing around Big Cypress in my buddy's old CJ-7. Good times!!

Everglades Wonder Garden closed this year, health issues with David Piper, it is partially open as a botanical place of some sort.

I knew he was having some major health issues. Too bad. He's not that old.

I'm glad you persevered...We could always use some more experienced members to help out the new folks.

Unfortunately we haven't seen much of Rocketeer lately. He is missed.

Ever been to Vintage Willy's in Bradenton? I've made the 30 mile trip twice from Venice and found them closed both times. Peering through the gate it looks like a Willy's Disney World.

When I get my top on and have it running reliable I would like to get up US 41 on a trip. Original color of my first jeep was Luzon Red. I was going to go with Pickett Grey and the Harvard Red wheels. I like the red but the Grey was just too dark for me. This color is called Silver Fox and I really like it. My civvy bantam trailer will also be this color.
