 :)i have been on the cj2a page for a couple years now. my handle i dennisanvil. i am a blacksmith for 40 plus years or more. i have a wood working shop at my house. i own a 1948 cj2a jeep. has new sheet metal. painted ih red.new ndt tires. it is 12 volt. one wire alt.new seat cover . a black half top , sew by pjeff on the cj2a site.rebuilt the steering box , with a tight  steer. i am retired , about 6 years now . i get up in the morn. with nothing to do and go to bed with it half done or there is tomorrow. i make tail gate hooks.

Hey Dennis.  Welcome.

I've seen your posts at the 2A.  Here at the 3A, we are a smaller group than you'll find at the 2A, but we are every bit as passionate about our Flatties as they are over there.  

I see Jpet was your top maker.  I had the privilage of meeting him this year at the Fall Colors Tour in Colorado.  Great guy.

Just like the 2A site, we like photos of your stuff.  The more the better.  Besides tailgate hooks, are you still doing other blacksmith work while in retirement??

Glad you're here. Where at in Hawkeye country? I'm here in the Quad Cities. Nice to see a local. Again, welcome and can't wait to see some pics of your work.

i try to edit this post dont how. so first the man that sew my top is jpet. second as soon as my wife figure on how to post pictures SHE will post.
