Hi everyone, I'm Leroy and I have a 1946 Cj2a, well what used to be and what will again be a 2A.  Its in about 1000 pieces at the moment.  Anyway just wanted to join the site to learn a few things form the 3a folks that may help along the way.  Cheers

Welcome Leroy! You will find tons of useful information here and guys just jumping at the chance to answer new questions. The site certainly has been an invaluable resource for me. There is a catch, however, we typically demand pics....lots of them. Even if it is just pile of parts. Let's see it!

In 1000 pieces...That's not so bad!
Now put all the small pieces together in one box, shake it and redo the puzzle!

Hey Leroy,

As Ryan says, even pictures of your pile of parts is a lot of fun for us.  Engine numbers, castings, stuff like that, can really get people going around here.  Super original stuff is very cool.

but...

Anything you might think 'bubba' did will also get a good conversation started.  These things were pretty much made to be 'modified'.   There have been some pretty creative 'adjustments' made.  Some good...and some, not so good.

Again, pictures, pictures, pictures!!!
