Title: CJ3A Rubber Brake Hose Size

Just received an order of rubber brake hoses and they are much thinner than the originals or previous replacements. The previous ones we ordered measure about 1/2" thick but the current ones we ordered are about 3/8" thick. Anyone else run into this?

Many times, I've used military vendors as I've seen better quality in some of their parts.  Does the vendor offer any information about their hoses?

Do they have "DOT" (U.S. Dept. of Transportation) and a fresh date (year) they were made printed on them?
If not, nothing but risky business using them.

The hoses had the DOT marking just skinnier that the originals. First time we've run across this. They probably would work but just look kinda odd next to the originals.
