Yessir it is! 10912!
Got the top off and did some cruising. Steering needed some attention, so it's down while I fix that up (nearing the final stages though, was lucky enough to source a NOS worm shaft)

Nice!! A running and driving CJ-V35/U. You don't see one of those everyday.

You and I discussed it some over email a few months back. I tried to run it's serial number and found your pages/sites/email. The motor isn't original, and we had a hard time tracking down exactly where it came from. Best guess was a Willy's truck of same era? Stamp on the boss above water pump says "T113506". It has some of the original parts, but not all.
It needs some new things too...suspension is the next big item. What's on there now is rough and possibly dangerous. All of them are in sad shape; sagging, missing clips (and fanning out), boogered spring hanger brackets. Through some serious inspection, I also don't think these are original CJV-35/U springs. Three have an add-a-leaf that adds up to the spec'd 10 leaves (with the exception of the driver's front). I'm reasonably convinced the three leaves are off of a similar jeep of the same era (tapered edges tell me they're original to something), and the add-a-leaf's were added to get them close to same ride height. I've got a complete suspension set from Walck's sitting in the shop, ready to be installed, once the steering issues are taken care of.
I feel honored to have such a rare piece of history! PO listed it as a 3A, so I'm not sure he knew what he had...While I have neither the capacity or desire to bring this thing back to true original, I also have no plans to destroy it to the point that it can't be later returned to such a state. I'll keep it going for as long as I have the desire/ability in it's current form :)
I have a lot of questions about this jeep (like are the Sears Roebuck Allstate hubs original?), would you prefer to keep discussing here, or through some other channel?

All Willys Jeeps, including the CJ-V35, did not come from the factory with locking front hubs. They all had driving flanges.
