Title: Holden straight 6 engine in my CJ3B

The Australian Holden straight 6 engine is a popular transplant into early 4x4's here, most often re-powering early LandRovers. The modification had already been done by previous owner and appears to have been done well. This is the 186 cid engine with 126hp as fitted to my RHD Australian CJ3B.

Wow!  How is the space up front?  Do you still have a shroud?

One picture is good but just a tease.  More pictures please.  Was the fire wall cut and reshaped?

Haven't had time to look at changes underneath, but at the front is a Holden radiator with shroud and it's done so well it looks like it's original. There's about a 2" cut through the firewall behind the engine and a modified trans tunnel, also well done. Some finishing off work to be done in this area, but only because I'm fussy, quite serviceable as it is. Will post more pictures of the conversion when I get into it.

Pictures of firewall changes. Adaptor plate between engine and clutch housing is about 3/8" thick and allows the Holden starter to be used.

That is a nice job on the firewall.
