Title: dual master cylinderupgrade and brake rod lenght

i put on a herms dual master kit, seems like the rod doesn't need cut down. from what i read, i do have about and inch or so of pedal  travel. does that seem normal ? i have yet to finish bleeding the brakes ( so that may change ?)
