I've been inspired by Unimog. I believe this will look awesome on my 3b.

Those Unimog portal axles make it look about as tough as it actually is.

It think you're right it will look awesome.  I,m doing something similar with my 54 3B. Going with lusterless tan, with flat black accents. I found some original forged aluminum slotted wheels from the 70. Almost ready for paint now.

What color and brand of paint are your using?  I really like the look.
