Title: Replacing pilot bushing
Post by: Vincent on November 22, 2019, 12:13:35 PM
I’ve removed the pilot bushing from the flywheel. The flywheel will be resurfaced. The new bushing does not fit on the transmission pinion shaft. I assume it needs to be reamed. On page 119 of the mechanics manual, it says the inner diameter of the  clutch shaft bushing is .628”. This equates to 5/8. So do I ream the bushing to 5/8? And should I do it before or after installing in the flywheel?
