how do you unhook the hi low and in out linkage?? cant find the thread but I know its on here somewhere..
-
I can't find any pictures. I think athawk11 (Tim) posted some recently.
There is a trunnion pin that fits through the transfer case casting and holds the levers in place. There should be a grease fitting on the outboard end. Near the other(inboard) end there is a square headed bolt that threads through the casting and holds the pin in place. If the tub is still on it might be difficult to get to, but if you drop the transfer case just a little you ought to be able get the lock bolt out and then the trunnion pin.

Per the description offered by 1955CJ-5...
Blue arrow is pointing at the grease fitting described above. Red arrow is pointing at the square headed screw that locks the pin in place.
