Title: Driver's Seat Location
Post by: JimVillers on March 29, 2016, 09:52:34 AM: Locating the driver's seat just does not "feel" correct so I thought I would post a couple of pictures to get a second opinion. The issue is that the inside rear foot sits on top of a ridge in the tub and the bolt hole is at the edge of the deck. The frame is 3 1/4 inches from the outside wall. The front feet look like they are in a good location.

Additionally, it would not be unheard of to have to "adjust" the seat frame a bit to achieve a good alignment.

Please note:ï¿½ These are 2A seat frames in a 3A Willys.ï¿½ The legs mount in the same position either either way.ï¿½ The seat just doesn't reach back far enough to sit on the front of the wheel house.ï¿½ I had to add larger shelves shown in the last photo.
