Title: First year for repro tubs?

Can anyone tell me when repro tubs first started being produced?ï¿½ Per another thread of mine, it looks like my tub is a repro wiith characteristics of an MB, M38 and a CJ.ï¿½ Glovebox, shovel indents, etc.ï¿½ Just looking for some history.ï¿½ Two infants and shift work have prevented me from ANY garage time for pictures, but hopefully soon.

I think almost all, if not all, were MD Juan products and that company has been very progressive of late to improve both the fit and acuraccy of their products. I have not seen any of their posts here but you could contact them from 2A, 3B Pages and ECJ 5 and likely get an exact date.

From a functional stand point, the indents and glove box would be useful attributes if not going for a completely stock restoration. And if that is the case, maybe the body mounting, floor pedal errors, and a few errant holes wouldn't be too big a concern, especially if already fitted to the frame.
