The frame that came with my CJ3A was usable but had the typical Northeast pitting. I happened to run across a pretty decent one. The pitting is not as bad and it some how it followed me home. Now I want to fix it up proper.
I was planning on replacing the front and rear cross members on my original frame so I have them. I have a good battery holder Im also going to use. My question is what should I do to the new frame before I have it sandblasted and painted? Should I do anything with the clutch pedal mount, the bell crank area?

You might find a couple of wooden dowels that fit the clutch tube and steering bellcrank mount...or, since it's likely you will replace the old bellcrank pin and clutch/brake tube, you could just leave them in, if protecting the interior of the tubes is your goal...
Nice looking frame.....!

Thats what I need to figure out. I see Walcks has the clutch/brake tube welded in the bracket. Not to sure about the quality. Does anybody have just the tube so I dont have to mess with the rivets and how about a grease-able version. Is there a repair for the bellcrank pivot? Trying to get all this a done before the sandblasting so I can paint it before the frame starts to flash rust.

There is a repair kit for the steering pin, includes the bearings, seals, shaft and spacer and I can't remember what else...

And you can buy just the inner crossover clutch/brake tube. It is the one that slides into the riveted frame bracket...i bought one and it was excellent quality and a good fit...
