Title: Unidentified part...?
Post by: 1955CJ-5 on July 12, 2013, 04:22:53 PM
I suspect this was used on the intake manifold carb mount stud to hold the throttle linkage return spring.... It was in with the loose parts as the carb was off when i got it...

Doesn't really look like a jeep part....

but you never know...any guesses?

Looks like one of those little wrenches that comes in a bag of parts and says "some assembly required"

BBQ was the first thing that popped into my head too, now a couple steaks on the grill sound pretty good. :)
This has me thinking- Why is it so aggravating to spend 3 hours putting a grill together, yet you can fiddle with a Willys carb for three days and be happy as a clam?

You do the one project because you want it done right...

You do the other because you want a steak!!
