Title: Seat Cushions

Is the bottom of the seat for drivers and passenger side made of wood? I took the old seat covers off (I don't think they were original) and there was good foam glued to the back of each seat and the bottom was made of wood. I am thinking they were probably steel springs?????? at one time but I am not sure.

The original seat pans were all metal, not wood. I believe you can buy (or make) wooden replacements for rotted seat pans. Original seats had springs, not foam. Sounds like your seats were overhauled once already.

That is what I thought - They looked alot like the boat seats that came out of my Glasstron ski boat years ago.
