Is here anything I need to know about driving my CJ3A in high altitudes? I am taking my 1951 CJ3A trailing in the San Juan Mountain Range in S. Colorado this October for the 1st time. Thanks to all for your expert advice in advance.

Well, I am in San Juan County Utah at 6000 ft and mine runs just fine. In fact mine will now out pull Calvins on a long steep grade on asphalt. His it stock and mine is bored .040" over and the block and head have been machined. I don't think you will have any problems at all. The last week of Sept. we will go to Abajo Mountain at 11,700 ft so I will have that on my Trip To Utah thread.
