;)Ive been soakin all the bolts for about a month with PB Blaster & have managed to get some of them broken loose with the use of a breaker bar & a cheater bar on it / Also used some " sentence enhancers"! Any tips you guys got about the actual changeing of the leaf packs will be appreciated ! Hope to accomplish this this weekend got my jack stands , farm jack and floor jack at the jeep :-? You need more liquid enhancement ;) But really the best stuff I've found is called PB Penetrating Catalyst. I use it on all my airplane parts and it's way better than WD 40. I get mine ay my local Napa Auto Parts.

Don't forget that some of those pivot bolts and U shackles have reverse thread. Here's a link to a diagram from the old website that shows which went where. Scroll down to bottom of page.

I would also upgrade to a large impact wrench and a torch. You probably won't be able to save the pivot bolts, but chances are they need changed anyway.

;)Thank you all for replys !!!!! I freqeunty use Liquid Enhancer at 40% ABV. It does help ;D I will check my local NAPA for P B * I bought an impact wrench last week and will use it on sat. I printed the link off about left hand & right hank threads Thanks 4 that ! I read on here to sit the frame on jack stands & use the floor jack to hold the axle ( just enough to support it ) RIGHT ? I will post & let you know of my success { I

Unless you've pulled the springs already, just a reminder that the four pivot bolts (rear bolts on front springs and forward bolts on rear springs) are splined where the go into frame brackets. So, you'll want to tap them out after you remove the inner nut (nuts are all right-hand thread). And, I'd suggest you replace them and the bushings - they will most likely be badly worn. ..>R
