Title: Hole in my Seat Frame?? Photo
Post by: athawk11 on January 05, 2012, 08:48:03 PM: I have 2A seats in my 3A. ï¿½I would post this question on the 2A site, but I am not a member there. ï¿½On the back cross member of the driver seat, there is a 3/8" hole and if you look inside, it is threaded. ï¿½Does anyone know what this is here for?

Post by: macrisel on January 06, 2012, 03:09:56 PM: I had the same question when I refinished my seats. Mine was plugged up with weld so I didn't use it. After mounting the seat without it, I decided to go back and drill it out and retap it. It made a HUGE difference in making the seat more stable!

Of course, I discovered this AFTER sandblasting/painting the frames and recovering the seat :o
