I have worked hard to eliminate rust, so I was worried about the original anti squeak materials used on the original Willys Jeeps.
I don't know if anyone would have interest, but I found an alternative product. It is not ultra authentic, but you can't really see it once installed.

It is made by Raynor Door Inc. They call it Hood Baffle Seal. It's used on their Rolling Steel doors. It's rubber, impregnated with a fiber mesh. It's the right thickness (1/16") and will not hold water. It is inexpensive. It's black. It comes in multiple lengths and widths and can be cut to size.
There are Raynor Dealers all over the country. Visit: www.Raynor.com and use their dealer locator tool.
