Title: Parking/ Turn signal adaptation

Bear with me as I am trying to post a pic for the first time

O.K. that worked. I wanted turn signals on my jeep and fortunately the opening for the old lamps were buggered so I went ahead and opened them up and welded a spacer to grill and then opened up the lamp socket and welded it to spacer

Here is assembly welded up. Jeep is 12 volt so using standard dual element lamps

ta da. My wiring harness is from Vintage Wiring of Maine and he built it with turn signals and flashers and it works really well. I'm not sure if all these pic's can make it on 1 page so let me know if they could have.

Great work Steve, I have been toying with converting my running lights to directional.
I am curious as to whether you can go with the clear lens as you have or must it be replaced with an amber lens to be legal?

Many cars came from the factory with white turn signal lenses, that used amber bulbs... Go with an amber bulb and you should be fine.
