Title: PTO Identification
Post by: Don on June 19, 2016, 11:04:04 PM
All
I have a model 50 PTO, pulled it apart today and verified that it is good internally and buildable. But after looking at some photos and documentation online I am wondering is this for a CJ, or something like an FC. Any input would be appreciated.

It's a front PTO drive.
Probably work with any D-18.
The length from the transfer case hole out to the PTO shaft hole might vary by vehicle - mostly determined by vehicle width, but it's possible they were all the same.

Anybody out there know?

Kinda looks like a Model 40 to me. That would be for a wagon or truck. Check out Art's website here...

Bob, looks like you are correct.  Wont work on the 3A without a lot of work, so perhaps it can help fund the rest of the rebuild.

Anyone have an idea of its value?
