Title: CJ3A Battery Hold Down Bracket
Post by: athawk11 on March 31, 2017, 03:56:29 PM
Finally got some time in the workshop.  I made a 3A style hold down bracket for the battery.  Its made with heavier gauge steel (11 gauge) than the original appears to be, but its all I had laying around.  It is a pretty easy and fun project.  Not pictured: The hold down rods for the end of the bracket.  (Cutting threads with a dull die can be a frustrating adventure.) >:(

Extremely impressive!
How do you cut and shape your metal?
