Hi Gang, could anyone tell me of a ground wire that goes to the ground terminal to the brush connector on a auto-lite GDZ 4817 type A? :-?

thanks, It did help. I put a jumper from the brush to the casing ground screw and got the very reading you see in that tech info. I suspect that the rebuilder of this generator forgot to put in the jumper.

Sorry for my confusion, no jumper needed. It's externally grounded. Just did that to get the right ohms measurement.
