Title: Side mirror - where to mount?
Post by: GroovesMcFly on July 10, 2016, 10:01:44 PM
I bought a side view mirror from Walck's (http://walcks4wd.com/outside-rear-view-mirror-cj3a-cj3b.html). My problem is that I don't know where to mount it. Does it mount to the dash? To the side? To the windshield?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Good pic! Do the holes go through the interior channel/brace or in front of it?

Do you have an original tub? There should be a piece inside that is a stiffener to keep the mirror bracket from flexing the sides too much.

I don't think I have the stiffener. I mounted the mirror and it seems fine. I will take a photo and post it soon.
